Chevron and Texaco’s connected-car apps make it simple for mobile users to pay for gas from their cars’ dashboard infotainment systems. The brand-new Chevron apps are now available for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. At participating Chevron and Texaco stations, mobile customers will be able to find the Chevron or Texaco station that is closest to them, view station amenities, add a car wash to their transaction, and earn points and redeem rewards.
Chevron’s extensive digital consumer experience includes the Chevron Texaco Rewards website, mobile apps for Chevron and Texaco, apps for Apple Watch and Android Wear OS, and apps for connected cars.
According to Tracey Gardiner, Chevron Director of Global Customer Experience, “Bringing consumers all the features and benefits of our mobile apps to their in-car experience is our latest advancement.” A world-class customer experience is a passion for Chevron. From the convenience of their automobiles, customers can locate stations with the amenities they desire, such as car washes or convenience stores, as well as the energy they require, such as our conventional Techron products or alternatives with lower carbon emissions, such as renewable diesel blend, compressed natural gas, and EV charging.
With the release of iOS 16, Apple now supports CarPlay for consumer fueling applications. The fact that Chevron is the first integrated energy company in the United States to connect its fueling applications to CarPlay exemplifies the company’s commitment to innovation and providing an exceptional customer experience that is in line with consumer needs and market trends, according to the company.
Chevron, settled in San Ramon, is one of the world’s driving coordinated energy organizations. Chevron produces crude oil and natural gas; produces transportation fuels, additives, petrochemicals, and lubricants; and develops technologies that benefit not only its business but also the industry as a whole.
