Cristiano Ronaldo hits 500 million followers on Instagram

Cristiano Ronaldo, a star player for Manchester United, became the first person to reach 500 million Instagram followers. Via online entertainment, the popular footballer from Portugal amassed 500 million supporters. Ronaldo was the first well-known person to have a significant number of followers on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Almost twice as many as the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli’s Instagram followers.

The Portuguese football superstar is now followed by more than 10% of the world’s population.

On Instagram, a picture of Messi and Ronaldo recently went viral. Lionel Messi of Argentina and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal are the two greatest modern footballers in the world. They are still experts in football but rarely appear together. Because they play for different teams in different leagues, they no longer compete with one another. They have never been on any one team.

He receives $2.3 for each sponsored post on Instagram. Virat Kohli, who comes in third among athletes, charges $1.7 million for each post.

In 2020, Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time FIFA player of the year, became the first active team athlete to earn more than $1 billion in a career.

Ronaldo is ahead of Messi in terms of total goals scored in football records. The striker from Portugal has scored more than 800 goals for both club and country. He is officially recognized as the nation’s highest goal scorer, male or female, with more than 110 goals. Additionally, he has contributed over 700 goals to the teams he has played for.

In 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo made eight appearances for Manchester United and scored once in those eight games.

Ronaldo was named the highest-paid athlete in the world twice by Forbes, once in 2016 and once in 2017.

Ronaldo has won seven league cups in his professional career. In addition to his three UEFA Super Cup championships, four FIFA Club World Cup trophies, five UEFA Champions League titles, and numerous other cups for the clubs he has played for, he is the first footballer in history to win league cups in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A. He has his eyes set on FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
