The first customizable keyboard from OnePlus is coming soon: Details: OnePlus will soon introduce its first mechanical keyboard that can be customized. One of the products that will be showcased through OnePlus Featuring is the one that will go on sale worldwide. The company with its headquarters in Shenzhen had previously announced the product’s release on December 15. OnePlus has teased a few details about its first keyboard, but no official reveal has yet been scheduled. As affirmed by the organization up to this point, the 1Plus Console has been created in a joint effort with console producing firm Keychron.
In December, OnePlus introduced OnePlus Featuring, a brand-new platform for delivering co-created products to customers. The company will soon release its first keyboard, which can be easily customized, through this platform. The mechanical console including Keychron innovation accompanies a twofold gasket plan, which will try not to uproarious kind sounds.
The company teased the keyboard’s upcoming release in a recent official Twitter post.
Pete Lau, the founder of 1Plus, made the first mention of the 1Plus Keyboard while tweeting about the 2Plus Featuring earlier this month.
The OnePlus Keyboard has a few features that the company has teased, but not much is known about it yet. The keyboard will be made of aluminum, making it easy to carry. In addition, it will work with Linux, Windows, and Mac. The layout will be similar to that of a MacBook keyboard but will also function with Microsoft Windows.
The OnePlus Keyboard will have features that can be customized, as previously stated. One of them is hot-swappable functionality, which enables users to customize their switches in a unique way. The inclusion of open-source firmware like QMK and VIA is yet another feature.
